Does anyone know where most students live?JusticeHarlan wrote:Yeah, that's one way to do it, though most student's aren't coming from downtown, they're coming from Brighton, Alston, etc, which is a little faster
There's also a direct route on the BC shuttle from the Cleveland Circle area to the law school campus. Lots of people take that.

Alston, Brighton, and Brookline are probably the most popular, though some live in Cambridge, downtown Boston, out in the western suburbs a bit, in Newton itself, etc.luckyme wrote:Does anyone know where most students live?

I wish I didn't look at status checkers and just let the mail come. Now I'm going to be seriously stressing about it.SarPear wrote:im decision rendered too... ahh!

+1 still UR. I don't know how to feel about this. I feel this relief as well as slight nausea everytime I check my status.zeke18 wrote:decision rendered today? I'm still UR as of 11/18SarPear wrote:im decision rendered too... ahh!

I think they seem to be emailing only the accepted students. This is VERY depressing because if you don't get that "video message" you KNOW you haven't been accepted.Aggiegrad2011 wrote:I wish I didn't look at status checkers and just let the mail come. Under Review as of 11/30...guess I'll have to wait a while! A BU acceptance would be nice in the mean time

I'm totally fine with waiting it out. It hopefully means I didn't get the auto-ding.

Just got the ding in the mail. Cannot believe they knew this last Friday and made us wait this long instead of just sending an e-mail.

I think they're worried that a ding via e-mail would seem cold and impersonal.Top14Hope wrote:Just got the ding in the mail. Cannot believe they knew this last Friday and made us wait this long instead of just sending an e-mail.
Although I agree with you, if I'm getting dinged, I'd rather just hear about it ASAP via e-mail.

Re: Boston College Applicants Thread
Decision rendered 12/10!!! I don't know whether that makes me happy or sad. The people who were accepted got the email the day after their status change. If they wait to send emails until Monday that means I have to be paranoid all weekend about whether I haven't heard anything because it's bad news or if it's because the office is just closed. What are the numbers of people who changed today? Likely admits or rejections?

Re: Boston College Applicants Thread
my thoughts exactly about the weekend thing- so stressful. This cycle is totally getting in the way of studying for finals. FWIW, My numbers are decent for BC: 167/3.7 but you never know...law_monkey wrote:Decision rendered 12/10!!! I don't know whether that makes me happy or sad. The problem really is the video thing. Everyone accepted thus far with Decision Rendered on the status checker also had the video message.SarPear wrote:my thoughts exactly about the weekend thing- so stressful.
