Either they can't believe how awesome we are, or they just wanted another chance to laugh at your applications...

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
I'm assuming the first date was when they decided to let us in, and the second date is for them to decide how much $$ to give uskk19131 wrote:Kabuo wrote:I wonder why you have two IR dates since being on reserve.NYC Law wrote:Im 6/7 -> 6/10 too....

I think the one poster who said their fiance got in on 6/8 also said he went IR on 6/2.sreichel wrote: As much as I would LOVE for this to be true, several people have been accepted recently and I don't think any were in the 6/2 IR date

Is that a good thing or are they saving the 6/2's for a bundled rejection email?Kabuo wrote:I think the one poster who said their fiance got in on 6/8 also said he went IR on 6/2.sreichel wrote: As much as I would LOVE for this to be true, several people have been accepted recently and I don't think any were in the 6/2 IR date

What worries me is that 1) so many ppl were let in at once and 2) many of them were let in after their first review date or, in the case if the girl's fiancé, after a second review date that came soon after their first

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
At least around here it seems like a lot of the people let in are strongly considering other options, and many are still withdrawing from Cornell. Plus it looks like the other T14s are having a good amount of WL activity, which will cause everyone to move up off waitlists (causing more to withdraw from Cornell giving us a better shot, esp. if waitlisted for summer).

Did anyone else specifically say if let in off the wait list/reserve I will attend? I find it odd that all these other people stayed on reserve when they didn't really think they would go to Cornell if they got in.

I said it then reaffirmed it in another LOCI.mrwarre85 wrote:+1gsat wrote:I sincerely hope you are on to something...NYC Law wrote:At least around here it seems like a lot of the people let in are strongly considering other options, and many are still withdrawing from Cornell. Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
I'm wondering if the reason I'm still in review is because I added something to my app since being placed on reserve. An evaluation/LOCI that they now have to review for the first time (and take their standard time with).

I don't know, but would kind of doubt it. There can't be that many of us left-- I bet they are moving right along now.Kabuo wrote:I'm wondering if the reason I'm still in review is because I added something to my app since being placed on reserve. I guess they have to bring out Ezra to review the Reserve apps too.

I included two additional recs, 1 additional evaluation and an additional "why I heart Cornell" essay.

I got in through the waitlist yesterday. Just sent in one non-committal LOCI before.

This doesn't bode well. Don't have an uber high GPA, and LSAT probably isn't as high as they'd want. But who knows, who knows...
