My status checker updated to "decision rendered" and I called to find out what it was.
They couldn't have been nicer about sharing the information with me.

what I am afraid of is that waitlist for barkim, is the single and only decision that they made today and now they are going home....

I mean, they are still working for 2 hours at least (they may be working overtime this week, as Yale definitely seems to be doing). However, it seems like most decisions happen in the morning for SLS.

I called today and asked where I was in the decision process (bc I had a binding scholarship decision to make) and the girl kindly let me know that I was going to DSL'd in the near future. Certainly made my decision easier. Good luck everybody!

I just called them for a friend. The lady on the phone said there were still some outright admissions spots left although there aren't a lot. Similarly, things should be sporadic now - there is no plan for a bulk waitlist in the near future.

It's ok. Dissappointed yes but I am very excited about what I have nonetheless. I think outside of HYS what I have is pretty much as much as I could have asked for (B/P with money) since I didn't really want CCN. So let's call it winning anyway!

Setbacks are just excuses to come back twice stronger. I always believe in that, have to prove life wrong

I also called today and can further confirm that there are still some open spots, and that students under review are being considered for all decisions (i.e., admit, WL, rejection). Also, the woman emphasized that decisions would be made right up until the end of the month. She further stated that, even if I sent in an upcoming deadline, there could be no guarantee that I would hear before the end of the month. Super frustrating!

Of course...I'd still attend if admitted .
