hey guys i was wondering if the parking pass is necessary or is there free parking available on the street nearby? I plan to live close enough that I can bike to campus when the weather permits but will definitely have to drive often I am thinking. tyia

You need the parking pass. I tried this my first semester thinking I could just save the money, but there is nowhere remotely close to park for free. The closest I could find was some apartments that were like a 20-25 minute walk from AB Hall. It was really inconvenient and I ended up buying a parking pass for the second semester.funkenstein wrote:hey guys i was wondering if the parking pass is necessary or is there free parking available on the street nearby? Bummer, I was hoping to avoid it too. Do you know anyone who bikes most days and just parks in the ramp as needed? I thought it was $5/day without the passLET'S GET IT wrote:You need the parking pass. I know people that bike most days. Not sure what they do when they drive but the day pass is an option.valen wrote:Bummer, I was hoping to avoid it too. Yes, that parking pass is a hefty cost. Thanks LETS for your quick response. I appreciate it. This has been a very helpful thread that I like to lurk on haha. is the price for the whole year or for one semester?

It's for the year. You could always buy one for the first semester and see what you think or vice versa. There are also monthly passes, but those are more expensive than you would pay monthly if you buy the semester or full year pass.funkenstein wrote:Yes, that parking pass is a hefty cost. The occassional parking permit program is 2.50 per time. Up to 40 days. Pretty nice if you are only gonna drive in once or twice a week and plan on walking/biking/metroing the rest. Aren't dailies like five or six bucks each? That is probably what I would do if possible, and use the free metro pass/walk on most days.

Anybody off the waitlist yet? I'm guessing not since they are sending people who didn't deposit more money...

Any idea what class size and medians they are targeting? Judging my the money they are offering they want to raise medians for both LSAT and GPA.

Re: WUSTL c/o 2018 Applicants
I would be very surprised if GPA went up. It seems to me like either class size will slightly decrease with LSAT the same and GPA down or class size will substantially shrink with LSAT up one and GPA down. A lot of sub-median GPAs have been getting fulls. I really think they're pushing for a 167.Boredlaw wrote:Any idea what class size and medians they are targeting?
