Thanks mujiali and queen. Can't access voicemail after I switched carrier, guess I have to wait for a long time to find out.

If you got in then your status checker will change within 2-3 days or shorter if there are no more consecutive JS2 waves in the next few daysblueberrysmoothie wrote:Thanks mujiali and queen. Can't access voicemail after I switched carrier, guess I have to wait for a long time to find out.
Congratulations to all who got in!!!

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Are JS2 waves usually two days long? Was the JS2 wave on Sunday of ASW last year followed by more the next day?
Also, when waves are two days long, does it often happen where two people interviewed on the same/close days but are notified on different days of the wave?
Thanks so much you guys are life savers

Same questions. What should we expect this week? Also, I had my interview a bit after these dates. Would that lead me to hear later?jaywil08 wrote:Are JS2 waves usually two days long? Was the JS2 wave on Sunday of ASW last year followed by more the next day?

Anyone interested to mock interview together for practice? Pm if interested. it seems that most people on this thread have mad interviewing skills, but perhaps for many being quizzed by strangers in the same boat may be unexpectedly useful.
ps: congrats to the js2s on the much awaited wave!

Is it possible they release acceptances in groups based on JS1 invite day?

<- 2/5 invite. Sorry buddy. But it's not like being passed over once means anything--there's no difference between getting in now or getting in later as long as you get in. When I applied to college (undergrad) I got rejected from my first choice and waitlisted at my second. Now, five years after graduating, that waitlist letter is a badge of honor for me.jaywil08 wrote:Aside from the fact that I'm grasping for straws, thoughts on this theory? Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Based on what's on LSN (assuming the anomalous 167/3.7 isn't actually legit) , people accepted today seem to have been above at least one 75th. From Harvard's perspective it makes sense to accept the people who are going to help out your medians first (or at least call them first).jaywil08 wrote:Is it possible they release acceptances in groups based on JS1 invite day? For example, I've seen a good amount of people here and on LSN that had a 2/6 invite and got JS2's today. I've seen no one post they were invited on 2/5 and got a JS2 today (I was invited on 2/5).
Aside from the fact that I'm grasping for straws, thoughts on this theory? Anyone get invited on 2/5 and get a JS2 today?
EDIT: Was anyone accepted today who wasn't above at least one 75th? (175 LSAT and 3.95 GPA, I think.) I want to see if my theory holds.

on a related note, anyone with an early JS1 (november to early Jan) got JS2 today? maybe early JS1s won't be reconsidered until end of march?
