Still kinda early. If you guys don't hear anything today I'm not sure what I'll think about the rest of the process... I CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!

I know seriously- you've been updating before me and still haven't heard so I have no idea what to think. I also have a feeling my own response won't be a positive one, so I wish they'd just get it over with!

If that's true it doesn't seem like it bodes well for the recent "JD Reserve" people (like myself)

Oh maybe? I was just bouncing off of the theory that JD Reserve meant that a decision has already been rendered. But, if they're not going to make offers till next week that doesn't really make sense

Seriously, though, if "JD Reserve" means decision than I can't imagine it would bode well for us waiting. I'm going to hope it means nothing, many people withdraw, and then all of us receive acceptances next week.

Bored Office Assistant: "Hmmm.... It's a slow day today here in the Cornell Law admissions office. How shall I entertain myself today? Wait! I have an idea!"

[Changes reserve to "JD Reserve" on status checker.... Goes to the staff kitchen to make popcorn.... Logs onto TLS upon return. Profit.]

Admissions could create hours and hours of entertainment if they just screwed with TLS

oh nevermind, I was way off the mark. 2nd Deposit is mid-may.

They could, however, be waiting until after today because thats when a lot of other schools make offers, and they probably expect people to withdraw soon.

It has to be something along those lines, or at least that's how I think it owuld be. If they were through with their offers and had a feeling they would have a full roster, to me it would seem that they'd just release the rest of their decisions...

Hahaha, that's very true (except I'm funemployed right now, only volunteering).

It gives me some relief to actually be able to enjoy the weekend and not worry about the possibility of hearing anything.

Maybe the wait has something to do with recent WL-acceptances at other schools so that Cornell is reassessing its class?
