That blows man. It won't be the same without you. Where are you leaning to now?
Thanks, man. Thanks for the thoughts everyone! <3
Not sure where I'm leaning now. Need to take a some time to look at everything and weigh opportunities v. scholarships and so on.
Sorry man.

Good vibes from me on your decision! At least you have some nice other options. Are you still waiting on other schools?

When did you apply?
Sorry to Veri and others who had bad news.
I got my need-based aid info today- combo of subsidized and unsubsidized loans, which is what I expected. I still haven't heard anything about grants/merit-based . . . . does that mean no go, or is this just because the fin aid/admissions people work separately?

It's disappointing, but the ride was fun!
This makes me soooooo sad, Veritas. I am very sorry. It seems that Dean Z, while stupendously great, might not be infallible.

I will be withdrawing my application from the waitlist today. I'm lucky to be participating in Teach For America for the next two years, after which I plan on re-applying to law schools. I hope my spot opens up someone's chances.

Does anyone know if there's a specific date that we're guaranteed a decision by? I know some schools say April 15, but I couldn't find anything on Michigan's website. After 4+ months of waiting, it'd be nice to at least know the end is in sight.

You could try sending it directly to Admissions via email at
law.jd.admissions@umich.edu.

it's ok, I bet you are safe. You have a great chance at Mich. Wouldn't you have already gotten it if I'm in Cali. Can't that that much longer to get to you, could it?

Any news yet? If you feel that today is the day for a rejection, then just don't check the mail till tomorrow. Problem solved.

Haven't checked yet. People with similar numbers are getting rejected so I just figure.

If that was the way Michigan worked I would be in. There is room for variability with them.
