So it's like confirmed, this is the weirdest cycle in a while?

Been a bit weird for me as well. Got waitlisted at two schools where I had a 80+% chance of being accepted and got into a school I was right on the fence with w/ a scholarship in 3 weeks.

Wouldn't be surprised if I got WLd at Gtown and then accepted at Columbia

What do you guys think is the best virus protection for a PC? I'm going to get a new laptop before LS but I've had problems with viruses in the past and I want to make sure this laptop lasts.

I say this fully aware that I may spark a large Mac vs PC debate on this forum... but I would suggest getting a MacBook. I have had my Mac for 8 years and it recently went kaput (over the weekend and because I spilt water over it). Never got a virus!

My cycle has definitely surprised me as a splitter. So far I've gotten into two of my reach schools with decent scholarships, but my target schools are either waitlisting me or giving me no money. I don't know if it's unexpected in general, but it definitely was for me.
