You know what SUCKS? My position right now.... DLS and called after 5 pm so no response in the admissions office. I guess I'll find out WL or ding tomorrow!

Will Stanford admit anyone outright at this point? Or is it all wait-lists and rejections from here? (Also, do you have evidence for this? Or is it just a guess?) Went UR on 1/22.

From what I've heard (KoalaCity is the Researcher in Chief here), there are no outright admits, based on past cycles.

But Stanford DID admit someone last week, and this bucks the trend, so it's not totally clear.

this counts as legal research, right?

But yeah, the admit last week was unprecedented (at least in the last two cycles)-I think Stanford did things a little differently this year, possibly in an attempt to boost yield*.

*my only basis for this is baseless speculation.

Was last admit interested in PI?

DLS earlier this afternoon (4:50pm PST). Called, and it's a WL!!!!!!!!

I've NEVER been so happy to get a waitlist in my life. And even though I'm in at H, I would go to SLS off the waitlist in a heartbeat

Oh, and slightly below median GPA, below median LSAT. Non-URM. 11/15 complete.

4.0 GPA, 167 LSAT. Finally, my cycle is over!

just realized i care more about the fact that you can no longer get those candybars in the US than i do about stanford rendering a decision on my file. guess it's time to withdraw.

Still floating. I think I've legitimately made myself sick from all the speculation and stress. I've went from not wanting to see DLS to almost wanting to see it in the hope for a WL to not even knowing what I want to see now. The only cure I can think of for the stress is the California sun and some palm trees. I'm really hoping there's still some straight admits left, even though that seems crazy.
