Submitted 1/17, Received 1/17, Complete 1/20, Completed 2/3.

No email, no snail mail (as of Saturday 2/5), and no call requesting interview.

UGPA: 3.92
Top LSAT: 177
Avg LSAT: 170.5
First-time poster. Hoping it'll be cathartic.

I was pretty sanguine about my application before, but I've been stressed since seeing it move to "Completed" on the 3rd with no email/call about an interview. I know my numbers are solid, and I think my softs are good (7 years of work experience). Still, I suppose my worries stem from: (a) whether they'll frown upon my first LSAT score (164), and (b) this mythical "yield protection" thing I've heard whispered about on these forums. I'll be in a tight spot if I'm not admitted to GULC for Fall 2011 (FT). There's a good chance my fiance's job will force us to move to D.C. beginning this summer, in which case GULC would very likely become my top choice (only choice in the DC area for what I want to practice). After my December LSAT was released I was hopeful for a merit scholarship, but this wait is so torturous I'll be relieved just to get in!

Thank you! I only wish I had a compelling explanation for why I scored so much lower in October! Still, in a way, I'm thankful for the 164. It drove me to take it more seriously in December, which (hopefully) has opened up some opportunities for me.

Congrats to all the admits today. I believe if you got in today, you'll be able to log into the site on Friday, it seems there is a 4 day period before passwords become active. I was accepted on a Thursday, and could not log in until the following Monday.

Wow i'm in an almost identical situation (lower stats, already living in DC), let's hope for the best.

Good luck to you. Being somewhat non-traditional and not having the luxury/curse of being an undergraduate surrounded by obsessed 0Ls, this site has been an invaluable source of intelligence these last few weeks as I've been compiling apps and fretting the wait. Also, it's good to know I'm not alone!

Definitely don't be down about your prospects of getting in. I was finally able to get in the ASW today after my 5th update. I initially went complete in early December, then 1/20, 1/28, 2/3, and finally 2/7. Also, I had taken the LSAT twice (161 1st time and 169 2nd time). The process takes time, but I think your chances of getting in are extremely high. Hope this helped, and good luck!

Progress at last. Was rolled from ED to Regular Decision back on the 29th of October. Status hadn't been updated since that is until yesterday at least I know that all the 3Ls are done reading it for entertainment value and it's back in admissions.

You might want to call them. I was in a similar position and my alumnae interviewer hadn't sent her information into admissions...I was stuck FOREVER.

Since then it's been sorted out and I just got my 3rd update (gulp)

So, I was application completed 1/24 and then I did my alumni interview shortly after. Now, I am application completed (again) with a 2/8 date. Is GULC trolling me?

That's right. So you dont get an email and I won't get an email and no one get an email so this batch is acceptances.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
