Would like to know the same. Also, any chance we hear back with JS2 before the 29th? Would love if we can hear back this weekend....
I think getting a JS2 during the weekend itself is very unlikely, and from what others have said earlier in the thread, may have just happened one time because JS was already working during an admitted student weekend. Add to that the Easter holiday this weekend and I very highly doubt any JS2 notifications will go out this Saturday or Sunday.
Some JS2s may be possible this week, though it largely depends on how they decide to break down their decision notifications over the next two weeks. Based on last year's spreadsheet and LSN numbers, it seems a bit more likely we will start seeing waitlist notifications and possibly dings this week and early next week, followed by a large wave of JS2s towards the end of next week. As always though, this is all conjecture based on last year and should be taken with a grain of salt. None of us can really know for sure what Harvard is planning on doing these next two weeks, although some have reported their interviewers saying they want to get initial decisions done by April 1, which is why everyone here is awaiting some pretty big movement between now and the end of the month.

I think the figure most people have been using is about 75% acceptance post JS1. This is based off of an interview with Jessica Soban saying that the interview program includes about 1200 applicants each year, and the fact that about 900 students are accepted.
Yeah we have actually discussed this several times already, but the consensus is that altough they accept about 75% of people who interview, getting an interview does not mean that you individually have a 75% chance of getting accepted. This is because other facts besides the interview still matter such as your lsat and gpa. So someone with who interviews with 4.0/180 with work experience and good reqs, probably has a higher than 75% chance, while someone with a 3.75/170 k-jd probably has a much lower than 75% chance. The good news is they liked your application better than about 4,000 other individuals, so congrats!
I'd be interested in knowing if the 1200 figure includes those interviewed off the waitlist, and how the js1-->js2 from waitlist rate compares to the js1-->js2 pre-waitlist rate. If 1200 does include waitlisted folks, and the likelihood of their getting js2's is lower than those admitted before April 1st, then maybe it's possible that those of us who already received Js1's might be looking at slightly better odds than 75%.

Can't someone with knowledge of statistics use the LSN data to evaluate GPA/LSAT as a predictor of getting a JS2? (With the usual caveats that LSN posters are a small sample, probably have above average softs, etc.)

Why does it matter that LSN data should be used? There are plenty of sites that will give you your chances based off your numbers. Are you talking about JS1-->JS2 rates based off GPA/LSAT? If so, I know that our spreadsheet provides some analytics on that.

I was thinking that maybe there is a very strong correlation between numbers and outcomes (people often say this about H, less so about YS), and then we would know that interviews don't carry very much weight.
Thanks for pointing out that spreadsheet; I didn't know we had that.

Hi everyone, just made an account after a couple months of lurking. This has been a great resource thus far. Quick question, my app went complete on 1/22; is there any chance of a JS1 this late or am I hoping for a waitlist at best? For what it's worth I have a 3.86/ 172 with above-average softs (TFA, Teacher of the Year at my school, ten years work experience, strong recs). Also waiting to hear from YS, Columbia and Georgetown have requested interviews. Many thanks!

I'm in the same situation. I have a slightly higher LSAT and a just-barely lower GPA, and I've been complete since 1/4 with silence otherwise. I don't have as much work experience as you, but I do have 2 years of international study and some interesting softs. I actually visited yesterday and took the self-guided tour of the campus. I had a really nice time, and I think I would love it there. I'm really hoping for a JS1 as well.

Same. Glad to know I'm not the only one. I've pretty much given up hope at this point.

Sorry to hear that.
You applied with February LSAT, right? I think it's been a bit of a weird cycle with the uptick in LSAT high scorers. I submitted my apps close to the deadline after receiving my my Dec scores in January, and I was waitlisted at a few schools I wasn't expecting. I'm sure if you were to reapply earlier next cycle you would get in. Still sucks for right now though.

I'm extremely surprised that you haven't gotten a js1...I have similar numbers to you, went complete on the same date, and received a JS1 early February (interview was delayed until March because js got sick), but I'm only one year out of undergrad! I wouldn't lose hope though, it
s not unprecedented for people to gdt js1s around this time. Harvard would be lucky to have you

Thanks, and congrats on the JS1. Hope you get the JS2 soon. Hoping to hear something this week, if only so I can stop checking the status update page every 30 min...

Applied two weeks before deadline (thanks to LSAC for sitting on my transcripts for 2 months!), complete 1/29. No js1. Got the email this morning.
