AccountExpired wrote:Dear all, luckily got a JS1 invite this week. I am an international applicant with a Superior rating and a 99.9 percentile LSAT. Now I am worried to screw up the interview since I am a non-native speaker with far-from-perfect English. Any idea what behaviors/answers during the interview will likely lead to a rejection?

Thanks in advance for any response!
Know why you want to study law, why you want to study law at Harvard (w/ some details like interesting HLS clinics/programs/professors), take a deep breath, be yourself, look at the camera, and don't get stressed out. They want to admit you, it's your job to not give them a reason not to.

Congrats to all the JS2s out there. Does anyone know how long JS2 waves typically last?

(Pretty sure I wouldn't get one anyway but now I cant know for sure :()
You could email HLS with a generic thing letting them know you are not reachable at your phone #. That way you'd probs get an email.

Long enough to make me sad, generally.

But seriously, it's hard to say. I'd just keep an eye on the thread or LSN until 5/6.

congrats to those who got JS2's!

This is the one covering my batch of interviews, so here's to hoping!

Only two acceptances reported on LSN for today so far. Though I'm surprised people immediately update LSN right after they get the call!

Congrats everyone! I have to think there is a chance if this is a larger wave today that it will be broken up since JS probably also has some ASW stuff to do.

Somewhere out there, a thief just learned that he's going to Harvard Law School next year.

Do the calls usually go out on in a certain order? Is it JS1 chronological?

Torture. Last year on ASW they started at 5 Eastern it seems, so maybe there's hope for later today.

I'm imagining JS, cell phone in hand, being swarmed at this very moment by those pesky auto-admits currently at ASW, struggling to get away to call y'all. Root for her, fam.

in the huge early feb wave, at the beginning of the first day of acceptances, there were quite a few int'l applicants who got e-mails the first day, and then none the rest of the wave. then the calls started coming. what does it mean that there was an e-mail first again (int'l) and then calls soon after (domestic)? maybe it is a smaller wave than we're hoping...
