Michigan just asked me to file a Proof of Residency thing, which requires a lot of paperwork. Bleeehhhhhhhhhh I've lived here for 9 years! Come on!!!

Ugh, I was crossing my fingers they wouldn't ask me to file proof of residency when I applied. I don't know if it's something they make everyone do or what, but I really hope it doesn't come.

Michigan will not ask you to file a residency application, Unam. They ask for that before they furnish the status checker.

Good to know, thanks! I didn't think they would really do it, but you know how neurotic the whole process makes you. I've literally lived/worked only in Michigan my entire life.

I realize I'm becoming strangely zen about this entire process. I didn't even bother to check my status checker until just now today. Between the LSAT and LS apps, I honestly think if nothing else I've gained the tenacity to endure the wait for 0L grades.

This has happened to me too. I was so neurotic about the whole thing, and now I'm just :|

I've finally made it to checking only every three or four days. I guess I was only ever a lesser-neurotic

I'm down to once a week. Friday evenings, I assume that's when I can find out about the whole week.

There is no one on LSN graphs with my LSAT getting dinged or held at Michigan. Just let me in. Please? If you let me in, I will attend. There. I said it.

I wish I had your self-restraint.

Confession: I check an average of 3 times a day, and whenever I'm not checking I am thinking about it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm not even really upset or down, just more of a sense of growing apathy. The only time I've really thought about this entire process as much as I did a month or so ago is when I realize I have to MOVE ACROSS A COUNTRY wherever I go (unless its Berks) which kind of reminds me that I'm kind of in limbo until I hear back from the rest of my schools so I can start looking at moving stuff. Eh, whatever though, I've got sweet potato pie and the internet. It's the little things 8)

Impressed/surprised at the restraint some of you have with the status checker. I check at least 3 times a day and it's starting to drive me nuts.

What's going on, Mich? Either you like me or you don't. Stop stringing me along.
