What's the rationale behind the GULC thing anyways? If you get your GULC admission papers before the Columbia packet, you're not getting in?

That sucks. Good luck though! I am beginning to feel doomed... they sent me an email back in October asking me to clarify something on my app, I thought I rocked the answer and got overly confident that this was a positive sign... doomed! doomed i say! Eat some brownies. I hear that works for the flu as well as law app anxiety.

Hey guys - sorry I'm challenged at posting. My last one didn't show up.

I got VCE in CT today - on the coast about an hour outside of NYC.

I mostly wanted to post because I've been freaking out a little because I go to NYC and back every day and I couldn't figure out how a letter from the city hadn't made it to my house yet (and therefore was assuming it wasn't coming). But long story short, USPS is ridiculous and don't lose hope.

I'm a girl! Actually, my mom keeps trying to convince me that I should become an investment banker or work for a startup. Both in order to "make some real money." To which my response is always, "It really isn't 1996 anymore."

And my very English father keeps insisting that schools here aren't real schools because they're all less than 350 years old.

Sigh. Parents.
