Have been sitting at UR2 since 3/21. I guess I am heading to the ding bar for a drink.

Given my numbers, MyLSN, and that I haven't seen a date change in a long time either, I'd say no. But, the possibility does exist. Given NYU's massive WL movement percentages, a ding would feel so horrible here.haley12 wrote:Are we thinking that no date change means ding? Praying no

Still UR2 since 10/31. Incredibly upset because I know I'll need to deposit somewhere else, but nothing else feels right

I don't think it means ding. I'd be the only reject with my numbers in the last 5 cycles and went ur2 in March. But it does seem oddNightwing wrote:Given my numbers, MyLSN, and that I haven't seen a date change in a long time either, I'd say no. But, the possibility does exist. I applied in Feb last year so only waited two months and got WL'd mid-April.haley12 wrote:Did it take this long to get Wl'd last year?proteinshake wrote:nah. Y'all know Sybill's date ain't change either! Lol.
Edit* -
I mean, I'd like to hear your input here in spite of how stupid or immature I might sound. But how am I NOT to read into the status checker's date change or lack thereof? In other words, I applied on 10/2x, went complete 10/27, and was UR1 on 10/31. That my date hasn't changed once is cause for concern; it makes me feel as if they saw my app in October and said "oh this hoe really tried it." Okay, maybe they didn't say that specifically, but you guys get me. I just feel like I never got my shot.

With an acceptance at Duke/other T14s and WL rather than Reject at Penn (a cycle of incredible proportion as far as outperformance of numbers) I'd be shocked to see you dinged and not at least WL'd at NYU.Stephylynette wrote:I'm honestly thiking the date change might mean ding at this point.

Lol thank you Sybill! I'm happy with Duke but I'm still holding out hope for an NYU miracle. So fingers crossed you're right!SybillAnnDorsett wrote:With an acceptance at Duke/other T14s and WL rather than Reject at Penn (a cycle of incredible proportion as far as outperformance of numbers) I'd be shocked to see you dinged and not at least WL'd at NYU.Stephylynette wrote:I'm honestly thiking the date change might mean ding at this point.

Anyone else been having dreams of an acceptance from NYU or is this just me? lol This is the second time in the past two weeks where I have dreamed and woken up because I thought I got a packet/ an email from NYU saying "Congratulations!". Am I psychic or just filled with anxiety?

I'm still 4/8 and haven't switched to 4/10 but I'm at the 75th LSAT and below the 25th GPA
