Good luck this week and next everyone!
Anyone have any thoughts regarding decisions in the coming weeks? According to LSN, it looks like last year WL notifications started going out around this time, followed by a large wave of acceptances on the 30th-31st.

good luck to you! I'm thinking we'll follow that time frame--more rejections, waitlists and then late next week some final JS2s. So close to the end of waiting!!!!-lemonlyman- wrote:Good luck this week and next everyone!

I was convinced that big wave of JS2s that comes just before April would be this week thursday & friday, but knowing our luck I'm sure it'll be next week 31st and 1st
leaving any of those lucky enough to survive wondering whether HLS are playing the ultimate April Fools...

Really hoping JS2's come out before Easter...I'm tired of my holidays being ruined for law school reasons!

Any hope for one more JS1 wave?

It's possible. Last year's spreadsheet shows two JS1 requests as late as 3/20. Though maybe someone could check if any JS1 spots are available for this week? I would assume the majority of JS1s at this point though would be coming off the waitlist.Egzon wrote:Any hope for one more JS1 wave?

We haven't had a WL wave yet this year, right? That's where all my hope lies at this point.

No waitlist wave yet. I assume that'll start either this week or nextanonymous117 wrote:We haven't had a WL wave yet this year, right? That's where all my hope lies at this point.

Really hoping we can find out before one of the ASWs so we can go if we get accepted! I realize that's asking a lot since they're coming up so soon, but pls HarvardMajinBuu wrote:I am weirdly optimistic about the next two weeks!-lemonlyman- wrote:Good luck this week and next everyone!

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
I sent an update that I was accepted to the Harvard Kennedy School for their MPP program (I'm a dual degree JD/ MPP applicant at all my schools) and that I would ideally complete the dual degree with HLS vs another law school. It took them a week to reply and they said they would "absolutely make sure" it was added to my file

Hi everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster here. I haven't seen this question answered in the pages I've browsed, and I'm getting pretty anxious as the April 1 date looms, so I'm just wondering if anyone has a rough idea of the acceptance rate post JS1? Thanks!

Would like to know the same. Also, any chance we hear back with JS2 before the 29th? Would love if we can hear back this weekend....tldr123 wrote:Hi everyone! Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
I think the figure most people have been using is about 75% acceptance post JS1. This is based off of an interview with Jessica Soban saying that the interview program includes about 1200 applicants each year, and the fact that about 900 students are accepted.tldr123 wrote:Hi everyone! Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
Yeah we have actually discussed this several times already, but the consensus is that altough they accept about 75% of people who interview, getting an interview does not mean that you individually have a 75% chance of getting accepted. This is because other facts besides the interview still matter such as your lsat and gpa. So someone with who interviews with 4.0/180 with work experience and good reqs, probably has a higher than 75% chance, while someone with a 3.75/170 k-jd probably has a much lower than 75% chance. The good news is they liked your application better than about 4,000 other individuals, so congrats!tflan19 wrote:I think the figure most people have been using is about 75% acceptance post JS1. Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
That definitely makes sense! Thank you for sharing. So, is there consensus on how the admissions staff review and the interview factor into faculty review? 25% is still a pretty big cut...cdotson2 wrote:Yeah we have actually discussed this several times already, but the consensus is that altough they accept about 75% of people who interview, getting an interview does not mean that you individually have a 75% chance of getting accepted.
