I think its possible, there are 3 supposed JS1 dings in the spreadsheet (though they applied in Oct, Nov, and Dec so they were waiting a while)

Look around, look around, how lucky we are to be alive right now...
The fact that I'm not dinged is a miracle
If I could get a WL, that would be enough

soooo when would waitlists come historically? I like the idea of only needing to survive another week.

How I'm surviving these ding waves is baffling. My numbers are pretty much auto reject (posting in hopes of speeding up the process). My head is exposed Harvard. Aim true.

Going by last year, it seems if you applied early and weren't dinged by now the chances are better of w/e than ding, at least according to this graph.

Finally dinged yesterday, JS1 in January, applied in October. Good luck everyone!

Now to go enjoy my nonrefundable trip to Boston this weekend . . .

If the pattern continues to match this week last year (i.e. two ding waves on the Wednesday and Thursday), I think there's hope for one more small JS1 wave tomorrow.

Edit: jk went back into the spreadsheet/LSN and turns out the data point for Wednesday was probably misreported. There was a huge ding wave on Thursday the 19th though, followed by a few JS1s on Friday the 20th.

Thanks for looking that up! It's only been 8 days since my interview, but it seems lIke late interviewees like myself are seeing faster turnaround rates due to the upcoming deadline...so I've been on high alert.

I'm abroad for the next two weeks with no voicemail access :(

If a decision comes one way or the other, it will definitely be followed up by an email, right?

Yes, it will. I missed my call and had an email within 24 hours.

If you're super concerned, you can change your voicemail greeting to indicate that you will be out of touch for two weeks and that email is the best way to get in touch.

Hi friends, checking in and hoping to be swept up in a JS2 wave soon! I remember reading this in this thread, but I've misplaced the post. Anyone know when the Harvard ASW will be? Just in case it's relevant to us!
