JS1 scheduled. Definitely an unexpected turn of events, considering my numbers! I'm going to have to absolutely CRUSH this interview to even stand a chance.

I wonder what the yield on JS1s in the last couple months. Seemed like pre-new year, most people got JS2s and post-new year it's been a lot less automatic. As someone with a JS1 a couple weeks ago, the idea of those odds being in the 40-50% range is terrifying.

this. if you take out the early auto admits, its looking more like 50-60% than 80%, anecdotally.

Last year there were 134 admits on LSN out of 850 total, so approximately 15% of the total admit pool was represented.

Some of the people in that FB group will get called away to Yale, lured my Hammies, go to ASW in March and Stanford's in April and decide that New England winters arent their cup of tea. One might inherit a billion dollars and say screw it.
