Me, too. Columbia for some reason took much longer to get my app to completion than other applicants around my date, though. I applied on 12/29 and didn't go complete until 1/26. Looking forward to finding out if democrattotheend is the crest of a new wave or not.notanumber wrote:Oooh. Those are very close to my dates.democrattotheend wrote: I think I went complete around 1/21. I applied on 1/4. I will check the postmark when I get home.

Okay, you know what you do? You buy yourself a tape recorder, you just record yourself for a whole day. I think you’re going to be surprised at some of your phrasing.TobiasFunke wrote:Thanks! democrattotheend wrote:My roommate just IMed me and said I got a big packet...not sure what color. Does a big packet mean good news? They wouldn't send a big packet just to say they rejected you, right?
On edit: She said it's like the color of split pea soup. Is that a good sign?
On further edit: I couldn't stand to wait so I asked my roommate to open it for me. She said it says congratulations, so I guess I'm in!
I think I went complete around 1/21. I applied on 1/4. I just checked the postmark and it was 2/16. I thought it might have been earlier and held up because of the snow, but apparently not. So maybe I am the "crest of a new wave" as someone suggested. I hope so. Good luck to everyone still waiting!BenJ wrote: Congrats! When did you go complete? Let us know the date on the envelope when you get to it yourself.

rx3r's post was also pretty classic.
But I admit...I also didn't realize what lawrapist sounded like until Sogui pointed it out.

Just got waitlisted at Columbia. I've never been so happy to be waitlisted. 165/3.7 non-URM. Was expecting a flat out rejection. I guess their admissions are somewhat holistic. =)

I say that with such enthusiasum because I have a 167 and 3.7x and got deferred at Cornell and Gtown. I was quite sure I´d be auto reject at CLS.

To everyone who got wait-listed, did your letter specifically say "wait-list" or did it say "reserve"?somethingclever wrote:Waitlisted!!!!

I'm trying to stop looking at this thread, I don't know why they won't just send me my reserve/ding letter already.

Reserve group -- complete 11/10, 3.84/168 non-URM. One letter away from the CCN waitlist trifecta.
