Congrats new JS1s!!!!
Gives me hope there might be at least one or two rounds of JS2s before the waitlist comes out.

I think we can bet on at least 2 JS2 waves, a very large post-ASW wave (probably early next week), and a small to medium sized JS2 wave to cover late-feb and later JS1s.MajinBuu wrote:Congrats new JS1s!!!!

I'm all out of monopoly money, so take these predictions for what they're worth: not much.

I got mine later in the day then others and I'm EST. I don't know if it's a system flaw or a manual process, but the emails had diff time stamps depending on the personmwonka wrote:I think in the past they've gone out around the same time, if not all at once. Hey guys just noticed this today, not sure if it was already talked about.

They claim to have gotten a JS2 on Monday?? They are also the only person to report a Yale waitlist as well, so a troll perhaps? Their account was made two weeks ago.

They also claim they were accepted to Chicago on a Saturday (2/21), which sounds dubious. A troll, AFAIC.RedColossus wrote:Hey guys just noticed this today, not sure if it was already talked about.

Congrats to all the new JS1s! Did anyone from today's wave of JS1s apply later in the cycle (e.g. completion Jan-Feb)? Judging from today's responses, it looks like most are from earlier the cycle.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Hi everyone!
I just got the JS1 email today and stumbled upon here while freaking out about the interview, so I guess I'll join the crowd.
FYI my application didn't become complete till about a week ago (I submitted it a couple of days before the Feb 1st deadline.).
My LSAT is a 176 and my GPA is a 3.96. I've been worried though that it will hurt me that I only took the LSAT once (this December) and that I didn't apply until right before the deadline. I've heard from people that law school is all about rolling admission and your stuff needs to be in during the fall to have a good chance.

Not this cycle. HLS has been VERY sparing with their JS2's so far. I say you still have a great shot.racic22s wrote:Hi everyone!![]()

The HLS c/o 2018 facebook group is still only at 272 people. Plenty of JS2s left to go out! If you're still in it, you're still in it

Also, I'd say the quick turnaround between going complete and getting a JS1 is a very good sign for you.HorseThief wrote:Not this cycle. HLS has been VERY sparing with their JS2's so far. I say you still have a great shot.racic22s wrote:Hi everyone!![]()

I should not say that. I heard that this year more JS1s have been given to people below two medians than past.jaywil08 wrote:Is this true? Had not heard this.Veronica2015 wrote: I heard that this year has a particularly large number of JS1s.

It was a joke. I'm the most well-adjusted person I know, just ask me. How about "go start CRYING". That raise less red flags?ballcaps wrote:not coolmorningstar wrote:Anybody who went complete in (late) Feb get one yet? I need to know if I should go start cutting.

Is it considered to be a (even slightly) good sign to get your interview quickly after you go complete?

1) Probably. It means that there weren't any red flags. Beyond that, who knows.jaywil08 wrote:Is it considered to be a (even slightly) good sign to get your interview quickly after you go complete?

2) I used beer. Not sure if I can recommend that though....
