I am going to get rich just so I can make enough money to donate millions to Michigan with the stipulation that my building will be called Griffindor tower.

Confession: I base many of my impressions on schools on how much they resemble Hogwarts.

Can you email Dean Z and tell her that for me? Just say the sweet dog from Up deserves a Darrow.Moriarty wrote:You, madame, deserve a Darrow for that.outsidethescope wrote:I am going to get rich just so I can make enough money to donate millions to Michigan with the stipulation that my building will be called Griffindor tower.
Time for problem #2: should I attend preview 1 or preview 2?
PS GGW: me too. In elementary school, I conviced 1/2 of my friends I received a letter from an American version of Hogwarts. They were so mad when they met me again in high school (we went to differnet middle schools, so they remained convinced for a few years!

Just got accepted to Michigan!!! I'm freaking out!!! I think I know where I'm going to law school.
I applied ED to UCLA too...any thoughts? On the wait list at the moment. Should I immediately withdraw that app?

1. Are you cool?
If yes--> join us!
If no--> join us, but become a Slytherin.
If unsure--> join us, but become a Hufflepuff.
PS congrats! I am sure you're cool.

Not so shocking. I am approximately straight-out-of-undergrad age and my fourth grade teacher read us the first 3 books in school.cactuarX3 wrote:WTF how young are you? Did I just give away my age? I am very young, but I don't think I am the youngest, thank goodness (the password for ASW seems to end at 1992. That's young.)cactuarX3 wrote: WTF how young are you? Harry Potter was around when you were in elementary school?

I don't know what the rules are for UCLA ED. If a waitlist releases you from binding ED then it doesn't matter. If not and you prefer Michigan then yes? But you're probably not bound anymore so it shouldn't matter.smoneill88 wrote:Just got accepted to Michigan!!! I'm freaking out!!! I think I know where I'm going to law school.

Man, between that thing that didn't happen in the Columbia thread and this thread today, I haven't been able to stay away from TLS.
I'd like to thank each of you for making the days pass by a little bit faster. I am forever in your debt.

Also, I believe if you're waitlisted you are released from your ED contract but please check with UCLA directly and decide from there.smoneill88 wrote:Just got accepted to Michigan!!! I'm freaking out!!! I think I know where I'm going to law school.
