PS GGW: me too. In elementary school, I conviced 1/2 of my friends I received a letter from an American version of Hogwarts. They were so mad when they met me again in high school (we went to differnet middle schools, so they remained convinced for a few years! )

Not so shocking. I am approximately straight-out-of-undergrad age and my fourth grade teacher read us the first 3 books in school.

I don't know what the rules are for UCLA ED. If a waitlist releases you from binding ED then it doesn't matter. If not and you prefer Michigan then yes? But you're probably not bound anymore so it shouldn't matter.

Also, I believe if you're waitlisted you are released from your ED contract but please check with UCLA directly and decide from there.
