+1, considering calling after lunch to see if they can give me any sort of update (now that I'm back under review). It's driving me crazy.gsat wrote:The anticipation is killing me!!

I called yesterday and wasn't able to glean any helpful information ... you should try though!LawSchoolPorFavor wrote:+1, considering calling after lunch to see if they can give me any sort of update (now that I'm back under review). It's driving me crazy.gsat wrote:The anticipation is killing me!!
I've tried calling a couple times and I keep getting voicemail...LawSchoolPorFavor wrote:+1, considering calling after lunch to see if they can give me any sort of update (now that I'm back under review). It's driving me crazy.gsat wrote:The anticipation is killing me!!
If I hadn't completely outted myself here (and if she hadn't been so nice) I'd strongly consider posting a direct line for the pleasure of knowing that some law admissions director is going crazy.gsat wrote:I've tried calling a couple times and I keep getting voicemail...LawSchoolPorFavor wrote:+1, considering calling after lunch to see if they can give me any sort of update (now that I'm back under review). Wow, thanks for doing this!LawSchoolPorFavor wrote:Called earlier and this is what I got:
-There will be no decisions released today, the committee is traveling/and or already gone for the weekend
- Going under review is a good sign that you'll receive a decision soon. She said that I could probably expect a decision within two weeks and as early as next week.
- The class is NOT full! The woman I spoke to said they fully expect to make offers to students on the reserve list
So unfortunately it seems like we're still in for a bit of a wait, but the good news is that we at least still have a chance at filling in those empty seats!
Thank you for the info! Very helpful.LawSchoolPorFavor wrote:Called earlier and this is what I got:

This is good to know, and I sort of assumed it was so anyway since they just offered a spot to splitmuch that he declined. Now, if only we could get them to pull a UCLA and send out the list of matriculating students, we could get an idea of how many of us are going to get off reserve.LawSchoolPorFavor wrote:Called earlier and this is what I got:

It accidentally went out attached to an email to admitted students, apparently. Not WL.theturkeyisfat wrote:why did ucla release that to waitlisted students?Kabuo wrote:

This made me laughNaked Dude wrote:I just went under review today. As far as the rumors go, I was placed on reserve around the same time last month, and my last name is between M and...T. I suppose it could be alphabetical or date of decision if they're wicked efficient, but I don't think so.
