For the people who recently submitted/plan on submitting LOCIs, did you include new information or just expressed continued interest in the program?

i just got my purple letter (i'm dls 1/21). it was funny because the letter reads something like: "so pleased to be the first to inform you of your acceptance." ha! as if the ASW didn't tell us first.jd20132013 wrote:No, it isn't, I've had a few others, I actually had two in the interim between my 1/21 DLS and getting this email.

How long after DLS did it take for your ASW login to become active?
I just got DLS (1/31), after UR ~1/15

I'm at "Application being processed" 1/12. Guess I will go under review some time in March and get DLS in May or something with the actual package sent sometime in the summer. Hopefully.

UR 12/22
but what does this all mean???
is sending a LOCI a good idea at this point? or do they have so much paper floating around that office, that mine'll go straight to the trash?

Re: NYU 2011
From what I gathered from the DLS 1/21 bunch, they were able to access the ASW on 1/25. So Friday 1/21 to Tuesday 1/25. 4 days or so for that batch.BlakcMajikc wrote:Sorry to intrude on the UR date postings, but anyone with an answer?BlakcMajikc wrote:cawquette wrote:i just got my purple letter (i'm dls 1/21). it was funny because the letter reads something like: "so pleased to be the first to inform you of your acceptance." ha! as if the ASW didn't tell us first.jd20132013 wrote:No, it isn't, I've had a few others, I actually had two in the interim between my 1/21 DLS and getting this email.

yes, that's correct. it was 1/21 DLS on friday and then when i got home around 7pm i saw some other DLS 1/21 post he accessed ASW. then i went onto ASW and was able to get in. before 1/25 7pm i was unable to. my purple envelope was postmarked 1/22 but it didn't get into my mailbox in la florida until 1/30.

This is logically incorrect. If they bothered to throw things straight to the trash, they wouldn't have so much paper floating around.

Yes that's correct. We were able to access it 1/25 after DLS 1/18. But 1/18 was a Friday, so that included the weekend as well. Hopefully you'll be able to access the ASW by tomorrow or Wednesday. Good luck!

Thanks. This is probably my number 1 choice right now, so seeing DLS is a bit nerve racking. Will keep you posted.hotthaichick wrote:Yes that's correct. We were able to access it 1/25 after DLS 1/18. Not if you think about it in terms of limits: That is, the office only can contain a certain amount of paper, everything else gets trashed.r6_philly wrote:handprints wrote:UR 12/22

If we have 100 papers in this office, then we will trash the incoming papers.

Your office needs to run like a queue instead of a stack.
