The consensus is that may not be such a bad thing.
You're probably right. I'm a natururalized American and English is not my first language (which sucked for the LSAT). Immigranting is hard man.
Then I had a significant back injury which harmed my GPA and some other stuff too. Nothing too bad like some of the Vetereans may had while serving, just my own cross to bear.
But then I think, gee, I'm an immigrant with a shot of getting into one of the most prestigious law schools in the richest country on the planet, to me that is remarkable. Got to love the USofA.
Dude, it really IS remarkable. It's hard to keep perspective when you're so focused on the very best schools, but it's always good to take a step back and think "wow, I am going to one of the best schools there is, just deciding between which one. That's already awesome."
And anyway, supposedly NU responds well to attention and continued interest. Being "outed" on this thread, showing that you think about them daily and want to attend, has seen positive reults in years past. Might be confusing correlation for causation though

Oh wells.
Yeah, I'm pretty pumped about law school in general, and NU is definitely my first choice. I made it clear that I'll attend NU should they offer me a seat but I'll keep on fighting for them in case they waitlist me or something (I guess thats where that big ass scorpion comes in).
