Re: GULC Waiting Thread
Has anyone applied ED and waited longer than 3 weeks after complete date for decision?

Re: GULC Waiting Thread
I don't think I've been complete for much longer than three weeks. I submitted in the beginning of January and went complete almost the next day. (ED PT, URM: AA male, Sub 25ths both LSAT/GPA) Pray for me and I'll pray for you.

I did, but I had a group interview in the middle of those 3 weeks and then was deferred to regular decision.kcdc wrote:Has anyone applied ED and waited longer than 3 weeks after complete date for decision?

Does anyone know how long it usually takes from your final update to receive a wl/ding email? Just updated to 2/4 from 1/28, 1/7.

Re: GULC Waiting Thread
Sooo, I was reading the thread for a ways back and someone correct me if this is wrong, but does it seem that everyone who knows that they are in via status check found out either after close of business on a Monday or on a Tuesday sometime? [which perhaps just means they didn't check the Admitted Student Website Monday evening]
Does anyone have an experience that counteracts this?

Preferred waitlist.... blah blah blah, its still a waitlist.
Third waitlist so far. I've been waitlisted at Duke, GULC, and Minnesota. Is graduating early that harmful with my numbers or is it something else? I applied late December.

Yield protect I would imagine. Considering the quick turnaround in your apps while many of us have been waiting since mid November, it has to be that--or something is really wrong with your app.

If the numbers in your profile are your real numbers, you should be an auto-admit. Write an LOCI or reexamine your app for glaring problems.

Re: GULC Waiting Thread
So I'm expecting a decision on Monday and called GULC to ask how I'd be notified, and they told me that I'd get an email. Kind way to let me know I was dinged, I guess.
Oh well. Moving on to the next school now.

FWIW,
You can't spell dinged without the "in"!!!
Lol, that makes no sense whatsoever but, yeah. Dinged.
Good luck to that 2/3 batch. I think maybe that's a special one.

For those of you that attended group interviews, do you feel that a thank you note is required/advisable?
