classic LSAT problem: what is the flaw in pbnjelly230's reasoning?pbnjelly230 wrote:Except we actively don't want emails. Email = ding or waitlist.theconsigliere wrote:how do I set up my email so every message that isn't from Harvard goes into my spam folder?
the correct answer is (d), pbnjelly230 assumes without justification that theconsigliere has already received a JS1.

how about odds for JS2s? Looking at last year's info, which seems to be matching up with ours relatively it would becoldmonkey13 wrote:I looked through last year's thread and it seems as if JS1 off the waitlist is the way to go from here on out.TheKisSquared wrote:tbf what are the chances of there being more JS1s?theconsigliere wrote:classic LSAT problem: what is the flaw in pbnjelly230's reasoning?pbnjelly230 wrote:Except we actively don't want emails. this week (of 3/14): Ding/WL wave
next week (of 3/21): Ding/WL wave
next week (of 3/28): JS2 wave
also wondering if earlier (fall-feb) js1s have the same odds as the most recent wave?

Not something I need to be thinking about right now, but does every WLer get the JS1 or is that still in waves?coldmonkey13 wrote:I looked through last year's thread and it seems as if JS1 off the waitlist is the way to go from here on out.TheKisSquared wrote:tbf what are the chances of there being more JS1s?theconsigliere wrote:classic LSAT problem: what is the flaw in pbnjelly230's reasoning?pbnjelly230 wrote:Except we actively don't want emails. Just got the ding email.
It's probably because I didn't check into page 180.

Ding just now via email. Not surprised at all. Thought I had an outside chance at a WL, but HLS was like "naw."

Sorry to hear it, HLS waiters. Still no news out here. No idea what they want with my poor stats, but they're keeping me waiting.

I've been playing a lot with myLSN data, and trying to use other schools decisions to help predict the schools I haven't heard from. Most of my models had me dinged from HLS. Plus only a quarter of splitters are not dinged from HLS.

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
So, I have been complete since 11/18 without so much as a JS1. Happy to have not been dinged, but I'm wondering should I send a LOCI or just wait for the apparent WL?

I'm in the same boat. (Complete 12/2). I think these guys have said to not do it until the WL comes, but I have no idea...Mountaineer78 wrote:So, I have been complete since 11/18 without so much as a JS1.
