Hey anyone know the JS1 schedule for next week? I'm really hoping that next week being after ASW and having the February LSAT scores out there will be a JS2 wave... If they dont have many interviews to conduct that would make me feel alot better.That would be swell...

Here's my hypothesis as to what happened: faculty review was late getting back with their decisions, meaning if JS was to make calls when she got the list it would've been past the RSVP deadline for the accepted student weekend, and that would've been a headache dealing with the "well, I can't make the next one, why can't I just come to this one?" requests. Therefore, the decision was made to hold off on calls until after the accepted student weekend was done.

This is completely not anecdotal evidence at all, nope, but I did get into every school I poasted on page 180 for.

Just realized that this is the only one this cycle to reach 180. No one else is even close. What does that say about this thread (or the people in it)?

I think probably a result of the Harvard 'timeline' being more predictable because of interviews and waves. Yale and Stanford give out acceptances in trickles and there is no obvious rhyme or reason to it.

Also we are all neurotic.

I'd guess it is a combination of lay prestige + best chance of admission (large class + most numbers based of HYS).
