Would you definitely take CLS over NYU then? It doesn't hurt to stay on the waitlist and see what happens! If you get in and then withdraw, someone else still gets your spot either way.

f I can't afford NYU at sticker, then I guess I can't say in a loci that I'll immediately withdraw from others if admitted right?
If your numbers are below both medians (which means merit money is highly unlikely) and you are not a URM, and you can't/won't attend NYU at sticker then, yes, you can't exactly make that statement in good faith.....

Just withdrew my acceptance. Realized that NYC just isn't for me - so I'll be working instead of depositing $$ just to hold on to a spot I probably won't take. Hopefully someone who actually wants it takes my seat. Best of luck!

I think I prefer CLS in several ways. I'd rather be uptown than downtown (minority opinion around here, I know), I think the PI opportunities are there for the taking, and as an alum of CU, the school gives me warm and fuzzy feelings that NYU never will. And NYU is quite a bit bigger, which doesn't appeal to me. I think my mind is made up but I still want to see if they let me in.

Yes, mine previously said applicant confirmed on waitlist. That was a couple weeks ago.

I wonder who all went UR. I have similar stats to Greeno.

I checked through last year's WL thread and no one mentioned a change to Under Review, only to DLS, which is obviously the big one.
