Hopefully this will be a case of speaking too soon (and I'll hear today) but with a 167 and 3.5+ and complete in the middle of January, I am getting a little anxious with Emory. From last year's LSN, I thought I would get in pretty easily. Considering I have been admitted to many of Emory's peer schools in a fairly quick fashion, they have not made a great impression.

my initial review was JUST completed according to the nice woman on the phone. App now gets sent to committee for final decision. She said a decision will be made by late next week or early in the following week.

Should I fill out the PROFILE form when I haven't heard back from them yet?

I've been waiting for a while too - does Emory care that much about GPA?

LOL, got a little excited when I saw I had an e-mail from Emory... but it turned out to be an invitation to complete a survey regarding the application/admissions process.

Same here. It was made all the worse when, for a split second, I though this email would make up for being waitlisted at another school today. Alas, 'twas not to be.

I think my numbers are borderline for Emory, 163/3.4. I am kind of expecting a WL but it makes me happy to hear people with numbers like 166 3.4s are getting in. Congrats guys!

That post about them taking numerous 165s made me happy :)

Congrats to those who have recently gotten in. I'm looking forward to a decision after 4 months of waiting.
Got my acceptance package today. Part 1 of my prediction has come true. Just wondering how long it takes for scholarship info to follow. Anyone know a typical wait from time of acceptance to scholarship $$ ?

Just saw in the Mercer thread...Emory called people for Woodruff interviews in early February. Sigh.

I was notified of acceptance today, and the letter also had scholarship info. FYI, $60k for 3.5 / 167. Better offer than Wash U. I love Atlanta, so good chance I end up at Emory. Best of luck.
