got the call today around 11. at first my status checker changed to say 2-4 weeks decision will be mailed...so without the call I was worried. But 20 min. later I got the call.

My checker says:

"Decision Status:
Decision Status Date: 1/19/2010"

Any idea why decision status is blank? My numbers are 3.74 and 165, so I don't see why they would WL/reject me.

I don't think it means anything. My Decision Status Date is 10/22/09, but my application didn't go complete until 01/08/10.

Got the call yesterday. 166/3.3 GPA with some good softs post-college. Status page never updated, and went complete two weeks ago. Good luck to everyone.

Any idea about how expensive it will be to live in apartments in Ballston? I want to live as close as possible~

The going rates around Ballston ran easily into $1000 range with a one bedroom / studio, Arlington is expensive, even with the housing crash. However, the situation improves if you start heading in the West Falls Church (Metro Station) direction. Personally, you should try Craiglist and find room mates, where it is possible to split the bill for as low as $600 to live in a upscaled town house.

For recently admitted PT applicants, how long did it take for you to receive the decision after your file went complete? From LSN it seems that PT takes longer than FT. Thanks!!

If you had to forecast: What position on the USNWR rank will GMU occupy in the 2011 law school rankings released in March of this year?

Hopefully they can shake their backward trend.

went complete on 01/12/2010, got the phone call from GMU on 01/21/2010, packet in the mail on 01/22/2010.
