Yeah, I would have expected someone living close to have heard about a scholarship? To bad I'm on the east coast...

I'm in Boulder, but maybe I won't get $$ anyway. I'd say EmRose is probably a better indicator than I am.

I was under the impression they'd be sending something to everyone this week – scholarship notice if you got one, or a generic tuition/finaid statement if you didn't. No?

Some scholarship letters have been mailed. I received a small one, and am quite pleased as I expected none.

Congrats! Mind if I ask the amount and your numbers? PM if you'd like.

I'm anxiously waiting by my mailbox now. Even a modest scholarship would probably be enough to give up on those slowpokes at UW and start looking for an apartment in Boulder.

Last Cycle: Waitlisted

This Cycle: Submitted "Why Colorado" essay (no other major changes) and was accepted with a nice scholarship that puts tuition at about 11k for each year.

I'm perplexed.

Congrats!! I'm sure criteria didn't change much although I know members of the admission committee did.
