I would think that LSAT is the most important thing. I talked to a former adcom and he told me that LSAT was seen as the most important part of the application, with GPA second. Thats because GPA can be manipulated and misleading. Whereas your LSAT score is what it is at face value. I would think that a 169 and 3.2 would get you in.finalaspects wrote:Question is do law schools care more about LSAT or GPA? If they have a choice to either higher their 75% GPA or 75% LSAT, what would they want to raise?RubyDoomsday wrote: But that is a big split, and you have to remember, even with a story, they have to report that 3.2. Just give them some time to see that they really want you. Does getting in three weeks from now or three months from now make it any less sweet?

I have a 168/3.1. I'm hoping LSAT matters more as well....dakatz wrote:I would think that LSAT is the most important thing. I don't want to wait anymore.
For the sanity of people in this thread, I hope decisions come out tomorrow.... besides, they've been coming out in batches every 6 days (Friday, Thursday, and then Wednesday last week) so perhaps this week it will be Tuesday!!!

Read the posts above. Its not a trend from last year, but potentially a developing trend this year. Only time will tell though... (sigh)bowie8285 wrote:why tomorrow? is there a trend from last cycle?

Does anyone know anything about how and when we hear about merit scholarships? Are you considered for them automatically during admission?
Thanks.
Thanks.

What do you think my chances are with a 3.74 GPA and 164 LSAT, non-URM?

From what I remember from the earlier posts here, the 167+ that they have let in already have a 3.5 GPA or better...
Speaking of which, could everyone remember to go over to lawschoolnumbers.com and update their Fordham status when they get accepted? Thanks. ^_^

This is probably what's driving the 167+ splitters insane...

Haha, I'm glad it's not just me! Seriously, I feel the same way - is it my major? My work experience? Did my essay suck? Do they hate people from the Midwest? People who live in New York?dakatz wrote:Haha, I have the same feeling, that maybe its my slightly odd major thats hurting me. I'm a splitter. Fordham's one of my safeties, but I have to be nervous from T1 down to T50 because of grade inflation.

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
Grade inflation has screwed me royally. I know I earned my 3.44 (LSAC 3.42, stupid people) but I know with easier majors that could have been a 3.8...WTF?shadowfrost000 wrote:I'm a splitter. Fordham's one of my safeties, but I have to be nervous from T1 down to T50 because of grade inflation.

Possibly. I am worried my lower LSAT score and Dramatic Lit major is freaking them out.beebs wrote:My stats are higher, and still not word. Self-doubt setting in...Steve Zissou wrote:From what I remember from the earlier posts here, the 167+ that they have let in already have a 3.5 GPA or better...
