I am applying ED and my application went complete on 11/9. No word since then

Don't they usually revert in like a week?

I think the turnaround time increases exponentially as the cycle progresses, and as they have more applications being sent. I went complete in September and haven't heard anything since. Breathe deeply and be prepared to wait.

Edit: RC fail...missed the ED part. I don't think a lot of ED apps have heard back at this point. I'm guessing they are going to do those in one big movement.

If you apply ED, you are guaranteed a decision 15 days from the date they receive your ED contract or your in-state status is confirmed (if applicable and whichever is later).

I misspoke. I think it says pending review/decision, yeah. I've stopped checking after today. Like the previous poster said, I guess I'll get a phone call first anyways. If anything.

Duke is slowly overtaking UVA on my wish list. 21 hour acceptance vs. two months plus getting skipped over.

How long is it usually taking for out-of-state RD applicants to get a decision after going to "Pending Review/Decision"? Or is it all over the place?

I was planning on doing RD, but at the last minute I decided to switch it up and go ED.

Hey sorry if this has been covered before, I looked back a couple pages but didn't see an answer.

Does the status date change daily?

mine says today's date (18th) but now I can't remember if this is a daily thing or not. I haven't been checking UVA very often.
