Same boat for me - insta-accept I hope! Much more likely, though, would be that it has no meaning.
+2, no change since "Under Committee Review" on 10/29....
You look like you have near autoadmit numbers. If bowie has high numbers too I will get slightly excited.
Yeah but I dont really have a GPA on account of being an international applicant. The 3.8 is just an estimate based on a transcript evaluation by a credential evaluation agency.

My cycle is really up in the air and so should not give anyone hope/cause for despair! In any case, I doubt these date changes mean much, though I'll be happy to go along with any positive spin you could put on the lack of them :)

I don't really know about the international application process - how are those evaluations...evaluated? There must be some more or less standard method applied by most schools, right?

I just took a look at Penn's LSN chart from last cycle. Holy crap, that is one massive sea of yellow.

Yeah, and they certainly seem to be more "holistic" with the 171-174 applicants than with the 175-180 applicants.

This cycle has made me so pessimistic that I have crushed my own dreams many times over, it would not matter if you piled on.

ugh me too. I have completely given up on my top 2 choices at this point and you're wearing down choice #3. maybe we could just hug it out instead of worsening my despair?

Sigh, considering I know a good # of people who are already in Penn grad programs and I met up with some of them this past weekend, I am even more stressed out by this.

I wish I knew.....but to tell you the truth, no one knows a damn thing about this, and believe me, I've done a lot of searching on this forum. LSDAS gives this vague evaluation of our transcripts but doesnt really provide a GPA, so I guess its up to the adcomms to decide how they wanna see it.

I got two admits early in the cycle though (Michigan/Gtown) and so things havent worked out as badly as they could have :). Now I'm just hoping some other schools show me some love!

Anyway good luck to you! Hope we hear something from Penn soon....

I haven't moved since then either. Too much turkey and pumpkin pie.

But seriously, my status checker still reads 11/10 UCR.

10/28... I win!

...by which I mean, I lose horribly.

(not ED though, so probably not unexpected...)
