I got held today as well. For those of us who got held what were your stats?

3.03 162

Those were basically my old stats. Totally makes sense that I got held - they def didn't look at my new score.
(I was a 162/2.8x. Now I'm a 165/2.8x. FSU has historically been kind to sub-3.0's)

I'm thinking this hold batch will be the people they admit to fill in the class after the April 1st fee deadline

Is April 1st also the deposit deadline or just the application deadline?

Horrible we have almost identical stats and URM also so heres to hoping we both get in. Do you plan on shooting out the LOCI ASAP or are you going to wait and see what happens?

I am planning on sending it out tomorrow, since FSU is my top school choice, I emailed Jennifer Kessinger to verify that this was the best course of action, and she agreed and also told me to send it via snail mail. FYI

I see some people getting held, then accepted with scores similar to mine I have a 3.5/160 and have been held since Dec. 4...the only thing I can think of is that I'm out of state...does FSU tend to be harder for out of state? Or any ideas whats going on?

158/4.0 held since 1/8 and out-of-state (formerly a FL resident)

I'm surprised to see so many of you held with LSATs 160 and over...I think this is finally the year FSU pushes their median over 160. They also might be trying to make headway in their stats war with UF...Good luck to you all, hopefully we'll be classmates in the fall

My name is Horriblegb and I was placed in the hold category today
for admission to Florida State Law School. I was wondering if it is

I'm a Florida resident as well.

Held yesterday as well. I hope they get back to me soon. If accepted, I'll have to try and get time off from work before the deposits due to fly down to see the campus. I like to plan ahead and the "HOLD" is not helping my stress level.

Stats are in my profile. Went complete in mid-January.
