So my status had been stuck on a date in November, saying once I complete my interview, it would be complete. I completed my interview over a month ago, so I called a few days ago to check on it. Turns out their system is giving them trouble and it doesn't seem to be updating statuses for anyone with a last name that begins with one particular letter (the one my last name begins with). He said it would update the next day, and it did (though it's unfortunate that now my complete date is over a month later than it would have otherwise been). So if it's been that long since your interview and your status checker is still stuck, you should call!

Same story here, too. I was having status check issues and I called the admissions office and was told that they were having issues with people whose names started with the last letter that mine does. My complete date is also my submittal date, which was before my interview. Do you think this is an issue? Will it affect when our apps are reviewed or when we get our decisions? Should we call and bother them?

The way the ED acceptances came out was by email. Followed by the status checker changing at 5pm, along with another email saying the status checker updated for my account.

I thought that NU sends all decisions via e-mail/status checker only, with an e-mail notifying you that your decision has been made and to check the website. I noted that in my handy excel spreadsheet after sending in my app.... anyone else remember seeing this?

Just sayin that it wasn't only limited to ED acceptances, but all decisions either way should be by e-mail/status checker only.

the website states that the 8 weeks begins in Dec 1, no matter how early one applied...

i'm sure the ones that are auto accepts will hear earlier. but if not, i think we're waiting until feb...

So, I just went to sign on to the status checker to see if NU released a decision. I got the following message: "The information you entered does not match any of our records. Please allow 72 hours for your information to be added to our database."

I've been complete since late November, and my status checker was working fine this morning. I wonder what's going on.

Hmm. I've only been complete since the end of December (earliest I could get an interview), so I doubt it has something to do with a decision (unless I'm an auto-reject).
