Congrats to all of the new admits! They're getting perilously close to my own completion date (about 11/10 or 11/11). I'll be away from my phone for most of the rest of the afternoon, though, so I won't know until very late tonight if there is news.

What does "complete" mean at Stanford? When you actually get the "Your application for admission to Stanford Law School is now complete and will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. We will communicate with you again when a decision has been made."?

I applied in late October and emailed them 2 weeks later to ask if I was complete. They emailed back saying I had gone complete on 10/29 but I never got an official complete email from them. I know this sounds a little neurotic but I just wanted to make sure I was alright and was wondering if anyone else had this same experience?

I also had to email them to ask; they emailed me back immediately to say that it was complete and submitted for review. The official email arrived shortly afterwards.

So at what point do we think it might be useful to send in this semester's grades? I know Stanford cares more about softs than numbers, but if the numbers continue to look good, that doesn't hurt, right?

I'm sending mine as soon as I start classes again in January. It shows continued interest, at least.
