What does "complete" mean at Stanford? When you actually get the "Your application for admission to Stanford Law School is now complete and will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. We will communicate with you again when a decision has been made."?

I applied in late October and emailed them 2 weeks later to ask if I was complete. They emailed back saying I had gone complete on 10/29 but I never got an official complete email from them. I know this sounds a little neurotic but I just wanted to make sure I was alright and was wondering if anyone else had this same experience?

I also had to email them to ask; they emailed me back immediately to say that it was complete and submitted for review. The official email arrived shortly afterwards.

I'm 11.11 complete date as well. Hoping like hell for a call from Dean Deal; it'd probably end my cycle. Congrats to the folks who heard today and good luck to the rest of us!

Does anyone at what point I can tell Stanford that if they accept me, I will choose them over any other school?

Congrats, mhopeful! Does it take any of the sting out of HLS?

So at what point do we think it might be useful to send in this semester's grades? I know Stanford cares more about softs than numbers, but if the numbers continue to look good, that doesn't hurt, right?

I'm sending mine as soon as I start classes again in January. It shows continued interest, at least.

I hate waiting. I know SLS has a rep for releasing decisions slowly... but argggghhhh the agony of waiting!!!

HOLY SHIT, I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!

Missed the call while in the shower this morning, but just got the email. I'm shaking.

Stats, because I'm the most notorious in asking for them:

Complete 11.11
170
3.89
Softs are on LSN.

I think my cycle's over.

Congrats!!

I had a dream last night that I got into SLS. However, I didn't apply to SLS. So I assume it was a misdirected vision of the future for someone in this thread. Good luck!

CONGRATS. Man my numbers are very similar to yours. I would freak out just like you if I got the call.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
