actually from other people based on this thread, it seems like you WILL get in.addicted wrote:my status just changed to "Decision Letter in Transit".
Can i assume anything from this as to whether or not I got in?
would it say congratulations or admitted if i did?
transit seems to = acceptance
decision pending seem to = WL/hold

Re: University of Florida
from a couple of previous posts on other pages of this thread i do NOT get UF and probably FSU for this exact reason: money!
if the state of florida is suffering so bad from money issues, and their budget keeps getting cut, then why do they make it easier for in staters with lower numbers to get in? their instate tuition is around 10k, which their outta state tuition is over 30k. doesn't it seem if they're having financial issues, they should let in more outta state kids with lower numbers? they'd make a heck of a lot more money on me in 3 years than they would a FL resident.

thats assuming most out of state applicants have UF as their first choice though...
edit: i guess if they have lower numbers maybe theyre be more willing to pay the $ for UF i dunno, it doesnt seem to make sense though and it would be banking on a lot of admits to actually go to UF

Unless you're an auto-reject (if there is such a thing), I would think this is the case.midrangejumper wrote:actually from other people based on this thread, it seems like you WILL get in.addicted wrote:my status just changed to "Decision Letter in Transit".

When did you apply midrange? I'm still at "All Required Documents Received." Ugh.

Gotcha... I paid on Jan 22nd, so I'm probably still a ways out.addicted wrote:end of november / early december but it took them a while before i got the payment info and in state / out of state tuition forms.
When I called a week ago to confirm that my account was complete, the lady didn't make an effort to check but also said that paying the $30 fee didn't impact your complete/incomplete status. I find that incredibly hard to believe.

Has anyone had their status change from decision pending to letter in transit?
Aghhh, I hate thinking that I'm waitlisted because of this status. I'm at or above their medians for both GPA & LSAT.

I just got a "Decision Letter in Transit." Does that generally mean good news. I never had in review. Yesterday it says "All Required Documents Received." I am kinda nervous...

Well, I got the In transit status change yesterday and I didn't get the letter in the mail today even though I'm in Gainesville. Prolly means they didn't get actually put in the mail till today, so won't get it till tomorrow.

You should have gone to their office and offered to pick it up in exchange for a 42 cent tuition credit.gogators wrote:Well, I got the In transit status change yesterday and I didn't get the letter in the mail today even though I'm in Gainesville. Aw congrats to all of you. Hopefully I'll be joining in a few weeks. Still havent gotten an email with username/pass for user account to even check my status. Applied on 1/15. Finally got the email to fill out supplemental app and send in fee yesterday, which I did. How much after that do you get the status checker email?
