I'm doing that. I hope it doesn't look too bad.lawnerd87 wrote:Does anyone know if it's okay to not apply for the Law Scholar Awards after indicating you would apply on the application?

Is anybody else seriously struggling writing the Law Scholars application? The questions are so vague...and I feel like everything I say sounds icky/general
. Plus, I feel completely underqualified, haha.

How in depth did you go? Feel like it's tough with a half paragraph limit. Definitely struggling tooarklaw13 wrote:I felt the same way and still go it. You mean half-page limit? My advice would be to pick something interesting that's not apparent from your resume/PS, if possible, to answer each question with, and above all be sincere. If you don't know exactly what you want to be doing in ten years, say so. Anything that makes you seem like more of a person and less than paper helps, in my opinion. But who knows what they really look for.jag13 wrote:How in depth did you go? Feel like it's tough with a half paragraph limit. Appreciate the encouragement, and it's nice to hear from someone who has gotten it. If you're okay with sharing, did you have any notable softs?arklaw13 wrote:I felt the same way and still go it. Not really. Decent stats and a lot of luck, for the most part. Maybe an interesting PS.20172017 wrote:Appreciate the encouragement, and it's nice to hear from someone who has gotten it. In via email! This is one of my favorite schools — so so so so SO HAPPY to have been admitted!
GPA < 25. LSAT = 50. Non-URM, but interviewed and wrote a diversity statement.
CONGRATS to everyone else who got this news, and good luck to everyone who's waiting!

Submitted on 12/1, complete on 12/2. I interviewed in late September, before I had the rest of my materials (incl. LSAT) ready.

To those who RSVP'd to the admitted students program, did you receive an e-mail notification after sending in the RSVP?

I am so done with waiting. I've been complete since 10/4. 165, 3.73 so slightly below both medians. I'm expecting a waitlist, but they've started waitlisting so.... What's the deal?!

I got admitted in march. Chill out you literally won't remember this wait once this is all in the rear view mirror.
But yeah, I'm feeling antsy about the people I interviewed. There were two I particularly like and still nothing
