I think it's an error of some sort. USC's level 2 of merit schollies is apparrently 126k this year. Btw, is anyone else excited that they seem to have bumped up the numbers for each level of scholarship they give? The 150k turned into 157.5k and I'm psyched about the extra dough. Probably won't go that far in LA, but here that would cover my rent+utilities+phone bill for a year easily so it is an amount that matters to meAssasindowntheavenue wrote:Obvi a typo or error. Kinda cool that it's a donor who is giving us the money.
"Many of the individuals who have donated funds to USC Gould for student scholarships appreciate hearing about
the students they have assisted. By accepting a USC Gould Merit Scholarship, you agree to allow the law school to
communicate with the donor of your scholarship and to provide information about you to that donor. In addition,
you agree, if requested, to write a letter of appreciation, provide a current resume, and/or attend a donor
appreciation event, each year that you are benefiting from scholarship assistance. In any year, if you fail to comply
with a request to properly acknowledge your scholarship donor, we reserve the right to withdraw your scholarship
award."

Same same with the $52.5k/year! Super pumped! Although I got way less from WUSTL so I'm wondering if I can do the reverse and use USC to bump their offer?? Congrats to everyone!ray.bee wrote:Yeah, I want to see if they will match WUSTL.. Its a 5k diff. per year for me, but every bit helps, especially when USC is almost 10k more in tuition.Colonel_funkadunk wrote:i was wondering the samewhodareswins wrote:Same amount here. Wonder how difficult it would be to bump this to a full ride...bulldog5 wrote:Same! This equals the offer I got from WUSTL. Quick Question:
My application has been "complete" since 11/30... Is this strange? Or does it go directly from "complete" to "decision made"
Thanks!

So is it pretty accurate to say that their lowest tier of scholly is 75K and highest (other than full ride) is 157K?

Not too strange. It goes from "complete" to "under review" eventually. I went complete around 11/21 and didn't go UR until 1/9. Still waiting on a decision.largemarge26 wrote:Quick Question:

LOL okay. USC Law's housing page suggests Westwood and I'm a UCLA undergrad so I was like I really hope this doesn't make some people think they're that close. hahaamta wrote:i was implying he would be attending another schoolray.bee wrote: Westwood is kind of far from USC (considering traffic)

In today by email.
LSAT at 50th. GPA above 75th.
I am a reapplicant, I was admitted three years ago. Timing wise, I applied in early october both times. Last time I was admitted early December, this round I was admitted a month later in the cycle.
