Yes. PTs are only good for the cycle in which they are given.cherrygalore wrote:dietcoke1 wrote:Yes. I received a PT last cycle after my Dec scorecherrygalore wrote:Hey guys! First post in here. Thank you! Hoping to get one after my LSAT. One more question... are they only given if both your LSAT and GPA are above their 75th?dietcoke1 wrote:Yes. Nope. I was not when I received mine but I don't really know how they go about giving them out.cherrygalore wrote:Thank you! Hoping to get one after my LSAT. No, I got one and my LSAT is far above the 75th and my GPA is well below the 25th.cherrygalore wrote:Thank you! Hoping to get one after my LSAT. Ok cool, thanks. Yeah my GPA is at the 25th, a little above, but my LSAT should be above the 75th hopefully. Has anyone who applied RD heard back yet? I know some folks, like myself went UR3 a while ago but nothing since. Tried peaking at older threads and saw first RD folks get in as early as early October or as late as Dec 1. Just wondering if anyone has heard something or has any insight

Sorry brother. I'm certain, with your numbers, you're going to end up somewhere outstanding with a fantastic outcome. (Maybe even Duke.) Remember you're a fucking badass and the process will work itself out. Cheers man.notsolawful wrote:Priority reserve

Thanks. My numbers are on the border for a lot of schools. Michigan or northwestern would be swell. Congrats on everyone who got in. I'm probably done with this thread for now thoughponderingmeerkat wrote:Sorry brother. I'm certain, with your numbers, you're going to end up somewhere outstanding with a fantastic outcome. I keep seeing Acceptances made through PT referred to as "conditional." What does that exactly mean?

Re: Duke Law School c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Doesn't actually mean much. The acceptance given between now and December are "conditional" until you fill out the financial aid application in December. At that point you are officially accepted.derekne wrote:I keep seeing Acceptances made through PT referred to as "conditional." What does that exactly mean?
Also, if you don't want to be considered for financial aid you can let them know and get officially accepted now.
It's not like you really have to do much else to be officially accepted, I'm guessing they are holding out to keep their offer numbers down. Like if say you got into UVA the day you applied you could just never apply for financial aid and not be considered in their numbers. IDK though

This whole time I thought non-PT people have been getting accepted and I hadn't. Nice to know that's not the case and there's still hope! Thanks for making my Halloween lollawcapture wrote:From previous years I had seen first notifications as early as first week in october and as late december. who knows...poptart123 wrote:Should be soon enough, though!lawcapture wrote:Don't think so, I asked the same question last week and got a lot of negative answerspoptart123 wrote:Have any non PT applicants been accepted yet?

just solicit one, I'm sure they'll give it to you.criley01 wrote:Hey, guys!
So I just found out about Duke's Priority Track application. I had been told that I didn't really need to sign up for CRS, so I just signed up for it on Oct. 29th (I took the Sept. LSAT and heard back on Oct.19). Is there any chance of still being invited to apply PT? I'm applying with a 3.83/170 out of Harvard undergrad.
If not, what does the timeline look like as far as hearing back on regular track?
