Are people on the west coast receiving scholarship info? I was admitted in December and haven't gotten anything....

I'm in California and got my scholarship letter two weeks ago (admitted mid Jan). Maybe try contacting them?courtleigh24 wrote:Are people on the west coast receiving scholarship info? I was admitted in December and haven't gotten anything....

If it's any comfort, I remember reading on their admitted students blog that they send you something whether you do or don't get a scholarship. I think they're still working, though, so maybe you're up soon!courtleigh24 wrote:Are people on the west coast receiving scholarship info? I was admitted in December and haven't gotten anything....

I went ahead and called and turns out it got lost en route! They just went ahead and sent me an email with my letter attached. Recommend calling to anyone who hasn't received scholly info to check if maybe yours got lost too...woodchuck78 wrote:If it's any comfort, I remember reading on their admitted students blog that they send you something whether you do or don't get a scholarship. Thanks for the support! Unfortunately, decision made today, but no seat deposits. Hoping for the best in the form of a WL. Thanks (:crystallize wrote:Don't be discouraged, I got in with scholly and my gpa was around 25th and LSAT at median. Best of luck!lawsheep wrote:Long time lurker checking in. I went complete 1/15, then again 2/11, and again 2/15. Is it unusual to have the date change so much for Notre Dame? My LSAT is below the 25, but my GPA is at the median, so I'm not expecting much.

I think there are a couple of different tiers.
There is 75, 90, 105, 120, and 135 that I have seen so far.

Add $60K to the list. Disappointing, it seems that they're giving out $$ mostly based on LSAT. I'm just under median LSAT with a 4.0freshprinceoflaw wrote:That's what I've been seeing too. Those amounts aren't bad at all, especially >100. Thanks!katapiller wrote:freshprinceoflaw wrote:Does anyone know if Notre Dame offers full-tuition scholarships? Anybody submitted the scholarship reconsideration form? If so, has the school responded?

I submitted mine and got an email confirmation. I don't think the scholarship committee reconvenes until later in March.LuxTheMuppet wrote:Anybody submitted the scholarship reconsideration form? If so, has the school responded?

Re: Notre Dame c/o 2019 Applicants
Application just went complete about a half hour ago!
LSAT slightly above the 75%, GPA right at the median. Should I be looking at a decent amount of money, if I get in?

Re: Notre Dame c/o 2019 Applicants
good evening everyone,
long time reader, first time poster here.
I recently had a chance to visit the law school and ofcourse was impressed. However one thing did jump out at me; i am a waitlisted student, a splitter 164/2.7 bio/chem degree, who never completed the optional essays ugh, but the person in admissions i talked to mentioned one thing about getting off the waitlist. No scholarship money was to be available to waitlisted students as was the case last year..? The other person who was also waitlisted and visting with me, asked about re-appylying either before or after the waitlist decision comes and they said they would not look down on that. I was surprised they expected to have no money to give to waitlisted students who are accepted, but i guess not to thrown off, and they made it seem like it was not uncommon for that to happen.
I know alot of people, myself included, are accepted at other schools and this might be a deal breaker for some.
however the visit was amazing and i would love to attend if i ever get the call!
good luck to all

Re: Notre Dame c/o 2019 Applicants
I went complete on 3/1 and I am a little above the 75th lsat and below the 25th gap, I sent everything in around 2/15 though. I did both the DKL essay( really was my diversity statement and that it self spoke of how I would be a DKL or student) and Why ND essay(it was pretty short, about 3/4 of one page). I am sure they are reassessing as feb lsat just got released. This is one of the only three schools I'm really waiting on and that I cans see myself actually attending. So when should I expect a decision to be made??

I visited the law school last week and I was honestly blown away. By far the most beautiful school I've seen and the people were great.

How long does Notre Dame generally take in making a decision?

Hey, I'd like to just mention that my scholarship letter was also lost in the mail, and that if you're uncertain about why you haven't heard from Notre Dame regarding money it might be worth a phone call. I spoke to someone in Admissions today to find out my letter was postmarked an entire month ago.

Re: Notre Dame c/o 2019 Applicants
This may be a strange question, but has anyone sent in a letter re scholarship reconsideration vs simply submitting the form? I don't want to annoy them but I would like to explain that I would have free housing at a competing school and thus significantly lower COL.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
