Complete sometime first week of January, accepted 1/20.
When I was accepted in November, the scholarship award was part of the acceptance email.

If it changes anything I applied through the presidential scholarship program - which it states while I didn't get the scholarship, I was admitted through regular decision. That was the only reference to a scholarship, and no other emails since then have had info on it.

Would it be too early to start scholarship negotiations with GW?

Schools usually start making decisions off the waitlist once seat deposits are due in April.

What do you have to negotiate with? If its really good, then I don't see any reason to wait. If it's too soon, they will tell you so.

Yeah, I got offered 30K more from a higher ranked school. I thought it would be worth trying to negotiate, but I wasn't sure if it would be too soon or not.

So, the question is if GW at 30k more is going to be an outcome you'd be satisfied with. Most times, your best outcome is a match. Sometimes, a school will exceed, but that's definitely less frequent than the match or more, but less than a full match.

do we know anything about average days between "in review" and decision? have been in review since 1/29 and wondering if this waiting has an implication.

I've been UR since 1/29 as well. For those still UR, what are your stats? I'm 161/3.7. I figure it will be nice to know who's got what when people are posting about A/WL/D.

Just visited the campus and really liked it. Has anyone started/had any luck with negotiating scholarships yet?

Did you solicit that information or did you just get the email out of the blue? Also, when did you go UR?

Same here. Got accepted 1/12 with no word about scholarships. I've been holding out hope that a later flurry of non-auto scholarships will be sent out. The Admitted Student Reception emails (for regions that are nowhere near me.....) have been torturous.

No, it just showed up on the application status checker - I didn't ask. I went UR on 1/29. I thought to check, because I was WL by BC and BU this morning. So, I'm not anticipating good news. I'm 161/3.7.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
