Re: UCLA Law c/o 2019 (2015-2016)
Just noticed my mobile number isn't on the status checker. My number is on the application, but I guess not in the spot that corresponds with the status checker.
Should I email them or leave it be?

I was told on the phone that UCLA will help fly admitted students out to visit the campus reception. I didnt see any mention of this in the email. Will this be in the packet they send or do I have to call them up. Maybe I just misheard whilst freaking out on the phone @_@
Also, guy above this post: March 7, April 4.
Oh man. I wasn't informed about scholarship info at all... I guess I shouldn't expect much with my numbers but i was hoping for at least 25k/year

Re: UCLA Law c/o 2019 (2015-2016)
I got a travel reimbursement (not the whole amount of the flight but definitely helpful) by speaking to them at the forum. It seems like they only had limited amounts of money so they could be out by now. There was nothing about it in the packet. Also I don't think anyone has heard about scholly yet. I don't think they being releasing that until February, which it says on the admit letter.87mm wrote:tappatappatappa wrote:Dean Schwartz told me in my admit call that they have "limited travel stipends available." Admitted students- did any of you guys get evening calls (like 5-7 PM) from admissions, or do they usually call during the day?

Also around noon. I'd be surprised if they called after COB in your time zone.Lucyfur wrote:Mine came a little before 3pm PST.daisrt wrote:Admitted students- did any of you guys get evening calls (like 5-7 PM) from admissions, or do they usually call during the day?

Yeah, that's fair. I'm on their time zone (actually work ~5 mins away from Westwood) so I was holding out hope for today, but probably day time is when it'll happen (if it happens)GrumpyYellowOgre wrote:Also around noon. A little after 3pm EST... had to get up from my rockin new cubicle to talk so nobody would hear. Only time an open workspace is lame.

I got my packet in the mail yesterday! My letter didn't mention anything at all about scholarships. Did yours? I wonder if maybe I'm not getting one...

I'm visiting the school on Friday. Are there other waitlisted people who might be visiting on Friday too?

I just got it as well. Seems like a sweeter deal than the on campus reception, but I already put in my vacation and booked flights. Oh well.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
