For those about to interview it's worth reiterating: firstly, it's good you're at this stage. Relax. For the people saying it's odd: maybe it is. I'm not sure I thought of it any different. It's a professional setting. It wasn't as casual as my interview with Vandy at a Starbucks or as friendly as mine with WUSTL, but it seemed on par with my on-campus interview at NU. It's an interview. Treat it as such. You'll do fine. I cracked (admittedly, lame) jokes in mine and somehow made it past the threshold. Don't worry :D.

What do you guys think are the chances of them still sending out fee waivers? I've received one from every single school I'm applying to (minus HLS), and I really don't want to spend 100+ on one school =/

Submitted Oct 31... still haven't received a status checker. Should I be concerned at this point?

Just wanted to let everyone know I had my interview today and my interviewer was very nice! It may just depend on who you get.

I don't think "concerned" is the right word. But it definitely is out of the ordinary. I got my status checker the morning after I applied. Maybe email admissions and ask.
Always the answer if you're worried ^.

I'm an idiot... I forgot that their app asks you to provide a personal email (which I never check) as opposed to using your school email. Good thing I remembered this when I did, I was on the verge of following advice and emailing admissions (that would not have looked good)

The only reason they do that is because school emails tend to filter their emails to the junk folder, and they want to make sure you get their emails. I doubt it would be a big deal or held against you if you had emailed them from your school account.

Just finished my interview, I'm pretty sure I knocked it out of the park! And I thought my interviewer was really nice, she chuckled at least twice! Overall I thought it was very relaxed, but that might just because I like to interview.

Did everyone get interviewed by Dean Perry?

I interviewed with her last week. She was incredibly nice, and she spent a good deal of time laughing and talking about random things. By far, it was the most relaxed interview I've had. I was really surprised, as I was expecting the intimidating interviewers people have suggested.

It wasn't as casual as I felt UVA and Dean Faulk were, but I loved it nonetheless. 10/10 would interview again.

Yup! It was pretty fun. I felt like I had a lot of great response to almost every question she gave me.

Had my interview yesterday. It's almost hard to believe what others have said w/r/t interviewers being cold/adversarial. My interviewer was very warm. Overall great experience, 10/10 would interview again.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
