Eh, it is nice to be close to so much federal stuff, but it is a pretty transient town. On a different note, I wish the law center was actually in Georgetown instead of up by Union Station. It is kind of a weird area.

I kind of prefer being at a place where you can catch the metro, that way you don't need a car to get where you need to go
If you need the Metro (which isn't the best choice these days if you value your life), walking across the bridge to Rosslyn isn't the end of the world. You also have access to bike share, Uber, and the DC Circulator/other bus routes if needed. It isn't as bad as it seems.
