False; I got call early January, got My packet the next week and in it was a letter from the fin. Aid office saying they start reviewing for merit schollies in late January. Im calling on Monday because I havent heard back from them. Ill keep yall updated

Pretty sure you got the run around... I got my scholarship info in my admit packet. Back in mid December

I got accepted in early January, got my packet about a week later, but didn't get scholarship information until early February in a seperate letter. Sounds like there are a variety of ways you can hear.

Congrats to all the new admits. Im 90 percent sure ill be attending BU law in the fall! Anyone going to the admitted student and alumni reception in LA on March 10th?

Are you from LA? I'm from La but won't be going to the ASW or reception. Took my LSAT @ BU Law though, so I'm vaguely familiar with their "law atmosphere". BU is one of my top choices, so I'll be most likely attending as well.

I appreciate your anecdote! I gave them a call today and they said they are still considering my file. They know monies are a big determiner of where people go so she made it sound like I would have my answer soon (presumably before April)

(I'm on the WL, but I think I have a good chance of getting off it after my retake. I just wanted to know how soon I can be pulled off or be released from WL.)

If it has only been a few days since you've been complete I wouldn't worry about it--I waited close to a month before being accepted. They'll probably get back to you in the next couple weeks. As for how they communicate I know they call for acceptances but I'd imagine it would be pretty awkward for denials or waitlists...

BU just sent an interview request. Any advice? On another thread, someone said law schools usually ask for interviews just to make sure someone's serious about attending or not. Is that true or just wishful thinking?

Sorry for the confusion, I meant I've been complete for about a month but the Status Check Date is gone, and a few people earlier in this thread said that's what happened before they heard back. And yeah, I'm guessing waitlist/denial wouldn't be via phone call, but since my mailing address is different than where I currently am, I was wondering if anyone knew if they utilize email or snail mail. You misunderstand. I have been at "Application Complete" since I submitted my application in early Jan, not for just a few days.

Long-time lurker, first time posting here. I haven't had a date on my status check for the longest time now (at least a week or two) and still radio silence. Submitted 2/1, complete 2/3. Would love to hear other's input too... Thanks!

I had applied for the Public Service scholarship, and they said they would keep me on the waitlist for that if I was interested, but offered me additional merit money. Anyone else in a similar position?
