Submitted FAFSA a few weeks ago and Need Access over the weekend; got my need-based award today. The email also said "We will begin awarding merit scholarships in the next few weeks" but I believe that's the same thing they've been saying so it might just be boilerplate. Hopefully it will be soonish.

Was literally just thinking about when they would get around to these.

Hopefully that means a big wave coming...but then again, disappointing doesn't sound like it was worth the wait...
I just noticed there are a few other offers on LSN in the past 24 hours as well, so maybe they're spreading out sending them.

Felt the exact same way. USC's offer was almost double UCLA's offer.

Merit award came in today, and I'm a little underwhelmed, seems to be the TLS consensus. PM for stats/$$ details.

Bucking the trend, I was actually happy with my offer. It is infinitely greater than what I've received from USC so far by the way.

Also got my award, which was about what I was expecting. It's at least something I can negotiate with to make me a happy camper! GPA around 25%, LSAT>75%

Got my scholarship amount! Very, very happy -- UCLA will definitely come under serious consideration.

Above/at both 75ths, accepted in November. PM if you'd like more details.

I received my offer as well. Like many others are saying, it's a bit lower than I was expecting and significantly lower than USC's.

Thoughts on sending in a LOCI before being wait listed? I went complete 12/9, and I am watching people with pretty similar numbers getting merit aid right now. Starting to get stressed as UCLA is amongst my top choices.

Admitted early in January, got a bit less than USC but then again, UCLA is probably more worried about GPA since I'm essentially a splitter.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
