Check your spam folder. Also, last cycle they liked to give decisions out on Fridays. Waiting is tough but distract yourself, since there's nothing you can do about it now. Good luck!megs2015 wrote:Interviewed on Monday the 27th. No word yet. The waiting is brutal.

Yeah I would echo this. I know it's easy to say and hard to do, but don't stress about it. It will come and regardless of when it does, it will be a full ride or very close.scottidsntknow wrote:Congrats! I've said a few times, but I think the earliest would be late November, as I think that's when the first schollies came out last cycle, but I may be mistaken or they may have changed things. With your numbers you should get a really good scholly.whosinthehousejc wrote:Hey everyone. Just accepted today, 176/3.54, several years work exp.
Was wondering when we should expect to hear about scholarship $.
Any '17-ers out there have some insight?

Or based on last cycle, you could be low-balled initially actually.LET'S GET IT wrote:Yeah I would echo this. I know it's easy to say and hard to do, but don't stress about it. That's true but if he/she has sincere interest in WASHU, shouldn't be that hard to get it up. Just has to convince them he isn't using them for leverage and is seriously considering attending, which can be done fairly easily.scottidsntknow wrote:Or based on last cycle, you could be low-balled initially actually.LET'S GET IT wrote:Yeah I would echo this. Yeah, I remember seeing all the frustration when I browsed through last year's thread. Everyone kind of expected their first offer to be $$$ falling from the skies.scottidsntknow wrote:Yea just warning the 0Ls though. It confused a lot of people last cycle.

Re: WUSTL c/o 2018 Applicants
Got an email from WashU entitled "application update," almost had a heart attack, and it said along the lines of, "thank you for applying and interviewing with washU, we are very interested in your application and we are still reviewing it, we appreciate your patience." Anyone know what that could mean, if at all? It may just be an automatic email... Please let me in!

Checking in! Just went complete. Not very hopeful. Unless they really want someone from South Dakota...

Submitted my application on Thursday! I'm hoping they are offering interviews to most if not all people, I would love to have the chance to do so.

It's now been a week since my interview and my app status hasn't changed since then, nor have I received any kind of follow up email like others have said they did. Should I check in with admissions or give it a few more days?

I had my interview on a Friday and didn't hear back until the Wednesday 12 days later. And they were under an early decision deadline for me. I wouldn't read into anything time relatedmegs2015 wrote:Yes I did. Just got in yesterday with a partial scholarship! Scores weren't high enough for full offer. 161/3.85 with some unusual internships and experiences. Can't wait to visit soon and see where I'll be spending the next 3 years!
