Still waiting, they say it could take up to a month or so. So I assume it will be coming around soon. Seemed like there was a bit of bureaucracy around itfrogcandi26 wrote:Has anyone gotten their reimbursement for going to the Preview Day?

Another waitlist check in.
Any update info? I got the email about asking us whether we are gonna retake the LSAT. But I said No. Seems like most ppl said no?
I am a foreign student but not URM. Would I have a lower chance to get off the waitlist?
Wish all of us best luck!

I emailed admissions and they told me that they will not review the waitlist until late May at the earliest, most likely not until June.Sheryl wrote:Another waitlist check in.

I mean it's like what was said earlier. It costs admitted students nothing. So it is in everyone's interest to accept the offer. Hold it and then wait until they get into their choice schools and then withdraw from it. So I am predicting July.D2142 wrote:I know right? I think that it depends, if you are above a 75th you may not be on the real waitlist, it may be a YP waitlist. I was WL and already heard back.

What?! OMG! I emailed them before and told them as a foreign student, I need time to prepare visa application and stuff. They said they understand and will get back to me by June. Now they say they are not gonna work on waitlist before June? I am gonna cry out loud!D2142 wrote:I emailed admissions and they told me that they will not review the waitlist until late May at the earliest, most likely not until June.Sheryl wrote:Another waitlist check in.

Did anyone else get the summer start scholarship email? It's incredibly tempting but would force me to leave friends behind sooner than anticipated.

I'm not planning to attend, and didn't send in any negotiations.BankruptMe wrote:Did you actually tell them you were coming? Or have you been negotiating.Attax wrote:Unsolicited scholarship bump from 25k/year to basically full tuition.

Sorry for not posting this earlier but, I was pulled off the waitlist on the 25th with a 75k scholarship. My numbers aren't world beating (they are in my profile) and I thought I was going to be an admit with a number near that the first time but I was waitlisted. I wasn't following this thread anymore since I got waitlisted but when I got the admission I looked back in and saw this discussion going on and thought I'd give my .02 about what the admissions people told you guys. Maybe I was an accidental waitlist if there is such a thing.

Waitlisters, for what it's worth, a few names have fallen off the "Meet the Class" page in the last week. Reasons to stand they'll want to plug those holes soon.

Re: IU Maurer c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
Is anyone else here planning to do the Summer Start? I wasn't going to initially, but I got an email offering full tuition to do it, so now I am reconsidering.
I emailed the FA department, but haven't heard back. Does anyone know how financial aid awards (for living expenses) work for this program?
If I'm going to move a month earlier than planned, I'll need to take a few thousand in loans at least to make up for having to quit my job early.

Someone (maybe Leopold?) addressed it on the Facebook page. Loans and federal aid are awarded for the summer program, so I imagine you'd use them for your living expenses.ahersch wrote:Is anyone else here planning to do the Summer Start? The full tuition offer was incredibly tempting but ultimately I'm not gonna go for it.

Nope, nothing yet. I spoke to them last week. They said they'll be sending out calls later this month. Good luckSheryl wrote:Any waitlisted students hear from the Admissions Office/ Committee?
